There have been numerous changes in the Fire Alarm and Signaling Systems Code and one of these is the development of a chapter specific to documentation, this session will review the specifics of the documentation chapter in an easy to understand format. After reviewing some basic spacing rules an exercise will be conducted by the participants that will allow them to apply what they have learned in the session by conducting a mock plan review. It is recommended that students bring the required code books as a reference (UCC, NEC 2014 and NFPA 72, 2010).
