The presentation will identify each of these stakeholders and how their involvement can play a critical role as part of the overall protection and risk management strategy for a facility. The discussion will range from initial planning and development of the project, construction, ongoing maintenance, day to day operations as well as the emergency fire ground operations in the event of a fire. Learning Objectives: •Understand the roles of the various stakeholders and how they can impact the overall fire protection for the facility •Learn the various stages of a facility life cycle and the need for both initial and ongoing partnering with the stakeholders at each stage •Explain key aspects of partnering with stakeholders to improve fire protection Tracey Bellamy, P.E., CFPS Tracey Bellamy has more than 30 years’ experience in the fire protection community including all areas of the fire sprinkler industry. He has extensive experience with fire suppression system design, fire hazard analysis and fire protection system inspection and testing. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in 49 U.S. states, District of Columbia and Guam and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS). He serves on several NFPA technical and correlating committees including NFPA 1, 11 13, 15, 16, 25, 30, 30B, 101 and 5000 (building code). Tracey is a member of ASCE, NFPA, and SFPE.
