The Fire Alarm code has requirements for these submissions and we will highlight these requirements as well as review what documentation is specifically called out in the code. There have been numerous changes in the Fire Alarm and Signaling Systems Code and one of these is the development of a chapter specific to documentation, this session will review the specifics of the documentation chapter in an easy to understand format. After reviewing some basic spacing rules an exercise will be conducted by the participants that will allow them to apply what they have learned in the session by conducting a mock plan review. It is recommended that students bring the required code books as a reference (UCC, NEC and NFPA 72).
