This course is based on NFPA 14 ‘Standard for the Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems’ and discusses what is a standpipe system, when are they needed in a fire protection system, what types and classes of standpipes are available, basic design considerations for new systems, and ongoing maintenance needs for existing systems.
