These challenging structures include aircraft hangars, petrochemical sites, and steel mills. From lack of water supply to heavy fire load potentials, there are numerous considerations to be made when designing fire sprinkler systems to protect these unique facilities. This course discusses several factors for the designer to consider and presents case study examples on how specific problems were assessed and resolved in order to provide functional and operationally compliant fire protection systems. He has managed projects around the world for high hazard industrial occupancies including refineries, bulk plants, tank farms, power plants, aircraft hangars, storage/warehousing, and transportation facilities. Keith is a LEED Accredited Professional and was the recipient of the ‘40 under 40’ award from Consulting Specifying Engineer Magazine. He is an active member of SFPE, NFPA and US Green Building Council (USGBC). . Certificates will comply with International Code Council (ICC) CEU requirements for ICC approved training courses. Fire Smarts is an approved training provider of the ICC.
